Memo 268: Bundled Up

Every February Fashion Week that I have experienced has ALWAYS been the coldest week of the entire year. I thought this year would be different.
It was not.
The day before the official start of New York Fashion Week was a Springlike 60 degrees. The very next day, the winter apocalypse occurred.
It’s like the universe wants to test your style credibility in the most unreasonable weather conditions possible. You know good and well that you can’t wear the heels that you planned to wear in 7 inches of snow. Now, what do you do?
Because they felt the most appropriate for sloshing around the streets of New York, I wore these Sam Edelman over the knee boots every single day. Judge Your Mom.
At some point, you have to be reasonable with your style. Heels and snow covered ice sounds like a recipe for a fashion disaster.
