- Don’t neglect to add texture. In this look, there’s some velvet playing very nicely with the leather in the skirt and the faux fur from the sweater. Texture adds depth and dimension to keep the monochrome from looking flat and boring.
- Of course, you can add patterns within the monochromatic look to give the eye something else to digest. See, the goal when you’re styling one color is to make it look as interesting as possible.
- Add a pop of another color like I did in this look. In my opinion, yellow is a great pop to add to most looks.
