And we’re off!
NYFW activities have officially commenced! I’m writing this post draped in a bathrobe hoping that I can pull together something striking enough to stomp the fashion week streets today.
If you’re following me on Instagram, you heard me talk about my marathon of day a few days back. Well, this is what I wore to run that race! As you can see, I incorporated my latest obsession, the neon trend, along with the plaid trend and my primary need to be comfortable and cute.
So, What Does a Marathon Day Look Like During NYFW?
Basically, I spent the day running the streets and enjoying a beautiful 58 degree Springlike day in February.
More specifically, my marathon day consisted of a very necessary nail appointment at Cote Nail Salon with nail artist, Cynthia, near Union Square, followed by a very well executed spa day with Urban Skin Rx and First and Last PR, finished with a Diversity & Inclusion Panel with H&M hosted by my boo and newly appointed Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Ezinne Kwubiri, along with panelists Julee Wilson, Kahlana Barfield Brown and Lindsey Peoples Wagner. I had full intentions to attend the Jordache Presentation but I just didn’t make it.
It bees like that sometimes. I want to do it all but I need another me.
What Will Bring You Joy This NYFW?
The weather is reasonable this week (for the first time EVER!). So, I’ll be in these NYFW streets. So, what are you all most excited to see from NYFW this Season? Let me know and I’ll do my best to cover that for you.
In case you missed it, I’m forcing myself to vlog this NYFW. So, stay tuned for those YouTube videos which will incorporate some of your suggestions. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel here in the meantime.
