During my visit back to Arizona, there were a few places that were top of mind when it came to fulfilling my foodie needs.

The Breakfast Club
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
This was one of the first brunch spots that I discovered and it has always held a strong position on the list.
Here’s what I like: The bird, The bird, THEE BIRD. Add a side of bacon. You’re welcome.

Snooze
Location: Multiple Locations
Here’s another very popular and delicious brunch spot in and around Phoenix known for Benedicts and Pancakes.
Here’s what I like: The Chili Verde Benedict.

Liberty Market
Location: Gilbert, AZ
If you find yourself in Gilbert, AZ on a Saturday or Sunday morning MAKE IT YOUR BUSINESS TO GET HERE. There will be a long line but it will be worth it.
Here’s what I like: American Standard (the potatoes and the biscuit are the real deal Holyfield), Green Chile Pork Scramble, and Bloody Mary (it’s no frills but it’s effective as hayle).

Si Senor
Location: Chandler, AZ
This is easily one the thee BEST Mexican food restaurants in Chandler, AZ. It’s very casual but very good and you will leave VERY full.
Here’s what I like: The complimentary chips with four different types of salsas, the Beef Enchilada Plate and the Chimichanga Plate.

The Original Chop Shop
Location: Multiple Locations
This is the best places for quick healthy meals, juices and smoothies!
Here’s what I like: Zen Bowl, 1/2Red Chili Shrimp 1/2 Spicy Korean Steak Protein Bowl, and the Cheat Day Wrap.

Sauce
Location: Multiple Locations
The name of their game is pizza and wine.
Here’s what I like: Chicken & Pine Nuts Salad, Meatballs and Mozzarella Panini, and the Suprema Pizza

Mission Restaurant
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
It’s Modern Latin heaven. Great for date night or an evening out during a girl’s trip. It’s dark, sultry and the drinks are yummy.
Here’s what I like: The Margaritas (alladem), Tableside Guacamole and the Duck Carnitas Empanadas.

Chelsea’s Kitchen
Location: Phoenix, AZ
This is another great way to experience Southwest cuisine. This place is great for family and friend outings. Also, the patio is large and in charge.
Here’s what I get: The Short Rib Tacos, The Surf & Turf Tacos, The Kale and Quinoa Salad and the Tuna Tartar with Guacamole.

Steak 44
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
A great fine dining steakhouse experience with a little bit of a scene and great ambiance.
Here’s what I like: The steaks (duh!). I’m a NY Strip and Bone-In Filet Mignon type of girl. Make sure to add the truffle butter and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts. MAJOR YUM!

Olive & Ivy
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
This is a really beautiful Mediterranean restaurant near Scottsdale Fashion Square. The bar is large and social and the patio is great for lounging after a day of shopping.
Here’s what I like: Veal & Spinach Ravioli. I just drooled from the flashback.

• Pita Jungle: They have a bomb Tapas Happy Hour! I get the Hummus with Grilled Chicken and the Wood Fired Salmon.
• True Food Kitchen: Get the Spaghetti Squash Casserole with Shrimp.
• La Grande Orange: I love the Smoked Salmon Salad.
• Zipps Sports Grill: Come for the Happy Hour. Stay for the wings and beer!
• The Living Room: I’m here for all of the Bruschettas and the Prime Rib Sliders. Yum to the Yum yum!
• Queen Creek Olive Mill: Take a tour of the Olive Mill and then have the Lucca Sandwich for lunch.
• Firebird’s: Go for lunch and get the Mixed Green Salad add Steak and Blue Cheese crumbles and the Smokehouse burger.
• Rudy’s BBQ: Pick your flavor! They let you taste any and everything before you commit. Just makes sure to add the Peach Cobbler and the Potato Salad.
