If you asked me 10 years ago if wearing fur in the Summer was the right move, I would have looked at you like you had french fries sticking out of you ears. Number one, how did they get there. Number two, why?

Well, this Season, I’m all about adding unexpected texture to my Spring/Summer Looks.

Four Textures To Add To Spring/Summer Wardrobe Now!

• Fur: Yes, ma’am. Just like the pieces featured in this look, strategically placed fur can add some unexpected texture to your Spring/Summer looks. No one is at all suggesting a fur coat but fur accessories are definitely the move to keep you cool while you’re looking cool.
• Leather: Leather shorts, anyone?! I’m here for it. It’s time to make a few of our Winter staples work for us year round. For example, the leather top in this look here can easily be paired with some denim cut off shorts.
• Feathers: At least this texture is light as a feather and not stiff as a board, amiright? Feathers are the perfect way to add some drama to your Spring/Summer wardrobe. Look out for feather accents on dresses and top and full on feather handbag moments.
• Sequins: Yeah, baby! Sequins aren’t just for the holidays. I’ve seen some very cute sequin embellished crop tops and shorts that you’ll definitely want to werk all year round.
