I’m pretty sure that we needed bicycle licenses to “drive” bikes around Amsterdam. I’m not sure how I made it out alive. I literally avoided no less than seven bike on bike collisions. Amsterdamians are serious about their bicycles.
I knew that there would be a lot of walking involved on my trip to Amsterdam, so I packed flats and comfortable clothing. Your more experienced female bike “drivers” wore heels. Maybe next time…
