“You can plan a pretty picnic but you can’t predict the weather!” – Outkast
Man, this lyric became all too relevant during the Revolve x House of Harlow event. I don’t want to be one of those people who slides in a humble brag in the midst of their complaints but the Hamptons were hot as balls. My eyelashes were sweating. Can you image trying to hold a look together, engage with other guests, take photos and your eyelashes are sweating?!
The sign of a true professional is being able to push through no matter the conditions. – Tweet This
My hats go off to models who are able to remain flawless, take amazing photos and make it look like the elements weren’t even a factor.
The event was, however, visually pleasing. After wiping the sweat away, I could see that there was some serious homework inspiration throughout the entire space. Well, done Revolve!
I wore this oldie but goodie throw back dress from Zara. I literally thought the dress would be light and breezy enough for the occasion. Nah, bruh. Next time, I’m bringing a bathing suit and jumping in the pool upon arrival. Facts.
P.S. Before you ask, the trench coat was a part of the look. I’m committed to the fashion.

You know it's the first thing I said "why the hell does she have a trench on in July!!" 😉
It was a great look though.
Love big checker board in the yard
Super cute, right?
That harness just added edginess to the ladylike look.
