Well, it’s the Friday of Howard Unversity’s Homecoming and you may not see or hear from me until Tuesday. Well, that’s not completely true. You can definitely catch up with my shenanigans on IG Stories and the really fun stuff will be on the Schnap (Snapchat: thewerkplace).
Today’s HBCU Alum owned brand, Sir & Madame, is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Brian and Autumn Meritt. Sir & Madame is a men’s and women’s clothing brand and luxury lifestyle boutique based in Chicago. The couple wanted the brand to bring classic attire with a twist to the boutique scene.
When I went to visit their Ukranian Village location a few years back, I felt relaxed and right at home with the vintage interiors and good vibes in the space. It didn’t hurt that Autumn had some D’usse on hand for the tour! Take a look at the post that I did here.
What I really appreciate about Sir & Madame is that it’s as simple as you want it to be but there’s lot of room to explore your own personal style. With them, there are no rules! I’m definitely rocking two of their men’s shirts in this look.
